We make objects for a slower life.
Krevalo is a European home brand built around Japandi ideas. Pieces made by hand, in materials that age with you, meant to last.
"A home is where your days slow down. The objects in it should help, not perform. That's what we make."— The Krevalo manifesto
Three things we keep coming back to.
Fewer, better things
One piece you keep for ten years beats ten you replace every two. We'd rather sell you the first.
Materials with a life
Rattan, linen, clay, stone, walnut. They soften and warm with use. We don't use plastic when natural works.
Direct from the maker
Every piece comes straight from the workshop that made it. No licensing, no rebranding. The maker's mark is stitched, stamped or signed into the piece itself.
Where ma meets lagom
Krevalo borrows from two ideas. Japanese wabi-sabi, which finds beauty in what's imperfect. Scandinavian lagom, which says just enough is enough.
We look for pieces that fit both: where the empty space matters as much as the form, and where the object disappears into your day instead of competing with it.
The people who make the pieces.
Lombok rattan weavers
Alentejo ceramicists
Linen mills
Kyoto woodwork
Less, made to last.
The most sustainable object is the one you don't replace. So we design for decades. Parts can be serviced, materials age into themselves, and we price honestly enough that nobody downstream has to cut a corner.
Packaging is plastic-free. Rattan is harvested sustainably. Linen is OEKO-TEX certified. Stone is quarried in Europe. We're not perfect. We publish what we know and what we're still working out.
